Hypnotic states are entirely natural occurrences where we couple acute attention to one line of consciousness with a deeply relaxed state. In trance, making changes and finding deep, lasting healing is much faster and more complete than with traditional Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In a “trance” state, you are never unaware of your surroundings. You cannot be made to anything in a trance state that you would not normally do. I will always let you know what to expect and we will only proceed in any direction once we have agreed together on our goals and process. 

Neurolinguistic Programming, (NLP,) is a carefully constructed approach to language that helps people restructure their experiences and emotions in a way that helps them achieve their goals. It is the language that underlies hypnotherapy, but it can also be used without the trance state if that is more comfortable for you.
